Purchasing Supervisor

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have:
5
years of experience in a purchasing environment; ideal candidates will have a background in industrial purchasing, transportation, aerospace, or a similar industry
Exceptional negotiation skills and the creativity to find ways to improve contract terms for the company
Some knowledge of logistics (in order to negotiate freight terms, deal with importing, etc.)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Computer skills, particularly a working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), and the ability to learn new platforms if needed
Flexibility and a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks in a timely way
You'll travel up to about 10%, mostly within the U.S. to attend trade shows, visit vendors, go to other Rockwell American locations, etc.
